Limestone Crossing - Dunkelweizen
Named for the limestone shelf that provided a way for people to cross the Fox River, this dunkelweizen started as a small batch first poured at Oktoberfest 2021.
This beer pours a beautiful copper brown with a creamy off-white head. There's a light banana and clover aroma paired with bread and dough from the malts. The malty-rich flavor of bread dough from the dark wheat malt is complemented by light banana, caramel, toast, and chocolate. The malts round out with a light sweetness and the beer finishes dry.
